ANALISIS FAKTOR RESIKO DAN IDENTIFIKASI SPESIES Candida PADA KANDIDIASIS VULVOVAGINALIS (KVV) PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS PARU (TB PARU) DI KOTA JAMBI
: Tuberculosis (TB) therapy with long-term corticosteroids will have significant impacto n the immune system, making it susceptible to opportunistic infections, including VVC. Vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) is a reproductive organ disease and infection of the vulvar and vaginal mucosa, which is characterized by the appearance of vaginal discharge and itching. This study aims to determine the risk factor of KVV on tuberculosis patients. The research method is analytic observation with the Accidental Sampling method. This study uses an observational analytic design with accidental sampling. The study simple consisted of pulmonary TB patients who were treated at Puskesmas in Jambi City with age, education, personal genital hygiene, and duration of treatment. Data were collected by interview and medical record observation. VVC infection data were obtained by microscopic examination by culture Germ Tube, and biochemical tests to determine Candida sp. Positive results for VVC infection reached 38.1%. KVV infection was found more frequently in patients
