Testimony on the Move: Navigating the Borders of (In)visibility with Migrant -Led Soundwalks
Abstract With the Rome-based soundwalk initiative “Invisible Guides,” migrant narrators lead neighborhood tours, recounting Roman history while bearing witness to their own experiences. This essay discusses the potential for these testimonial transactions between authors, participants, and urban space to challenge the invisibilization of migrant realities within the city center.

a /b: Auto/Biography Studies enjoys an international reputation for publishing the highest level of peer-reviewed scholarship in the fields of autobiography, biography, life narrative, and identity studies. a/b draws from a diverse community of global scholars to publish essays that further the scholarly discourse on historic and contemporary auto/biographical narratives.
