The participants were 16 health professionals from three Specialized Care Services in southern Brazil. Data were submitted to Discourse Analysis in the French current.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The first thematic category highlighted the perspectives on the right to participation as a new meaning in the science of care. Children and adolescents living with HIV: participatory health care proposal.
