Journal of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology (Natural Science Edition) was founded in 1981. It is a natural science academic journal (International Serial Number: ISSN1001-0564, Domestic Serial Number: CN11-2523/TS) under the supervision of Beijing Municipal Education Commission and sponsored by Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. This journal is a quarterly publication, published in March, June, September and December every year. This journal mainly publishes theoretical research, scientific research results, comprehensive academic reviews and special discussions in related fields such as clothing, apparel and new materials technology, clothing ergonomics and ergonomics, clothing digitization and intelligence, interdisciplinary clothing, textile technology, dyeing and finishing technology, applied chemistry, electronic information science and technology, computer science, and management science. This journal is a journal of Statistics and Analysis of Chinese Scientific and Technological Papers, and is included in databases such as HowNet, Wanfang, VIP, Chemical Abstracts (CA), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), SCOPUS, and EBSCO. It has been selected for many consecutive times in the "Chinese Core Journals" (Peking University Edition), RCCSE Chinese Core Academic Journals, Classification Catalog of High-Quality Science and Technology Journals in the Textile Field, and Excellent Science and Technology Journals of Chinese Universities.

《北京服装学院学报》（自然科学版）创立于1981年，是由北京市教委主管、北京服装学院主办的自然科学类学术期刊（国际刊号：ISSN1001-0564,国内刊号：CN11-2523/TS）。学报为季刊，每年3、6、9、12月出版。本刊主要刊登服装、服饰与新材料科技、服装人体工学与工效学、服装数字化与智能化、服装学交叉学科、纺织技术、染整技术、应用化学、电子信息科学技术、计算机科学、管理科学等相关领域的理论研究、科研成果、综合性学术评论及专题论述等文章。学报为《中国科技论文统计与分析》用刊，知网、万方、维普、《美国化学文摘（CA）》、《美国剑桥科学文摘（CSA）》、荷兰《文摘与引文数据库》(SCOPUS)、美国EBSCO等数据库收录期刊，连续多次入选《中文核心期刊要目总览》（北大版）、RCCSE中国核心学术期刊，纺织领域高质量科技期刊分级目录及中国高校优秀科技期刊。
