Abstract
The article analyzes the attitude to entrepreneurship that is developing in Russian and Chinese cultures. The article pre-sents the results of a study of the stereotypes of a "typical Russian" and an entrepreneur – "a typical representative of Russian nation-ality", as well as a "typical Chinese" and an entrepreneur – "a typical representative of Chinese nationality". The sample consisted of 72 respondents (including 40 Russians and 32 Chinese entrepreneurs). The research was carried out using D. Peabody's method of studying ethnic stereotypes.
