This article continues the authors’ research on Hong Kong variety of the English language and the culture of its speakers, based on the novels written by Hong Kong authors, and discusses the analysis of stereotypes and autostereotypes, as well as the research of Hong Kongers’ linguistic identity through the terms of address and self-naming, which they use. Finally, the author looks for a decision of the problem whether Hong Kongers have an identity crisis or they know exactly where they are. This research is based on the content-related text analysis and on linguistic and comparative methods.

The article recreates the pages of history of rail transport in Siberia and the Far East in the period of acute social conflict in Russia in 1918-1922 years. The Trans-Siberian and the Chinese Eastern railway had access to the main ports of Russia in the Pacific. The Amur and Ussuri Railways were seized by white guards and interventionists who carried out punitive actions against railway workers and civilians. As a consequence of this occupation policy in Primorye, the Amur region and Transbaikalia developed guerrilla movement. The authors cite numerous facts that show that during the years of the civil war, the Railways suffered greatly, being destroyed by a number of active participants in those events – the whites, the interventionists, the guerrillas, and the People's Revolutionary army.

The article discusses the reflection by the Oxford English Dictionary the cultural and language treasury of world Englishes differentiating the global pluricentric language. Using the classifying conception of the three circles developed by B.B. Kachru, we found out that despite the OED3 editors’ claim that now they avoid the principle of exoticization and they tend to represent the everyday culture of English users, the dictionary marks the lexicon of national and postcolonial varieties only, which is a proof of their status. Meanwhile, Expanding Circle varieties of English, which outnumber those of the Inner and Outer Circle, are not mentioned as varieties of English in the dictionary, and their lexicon is included as loan words from donating languages rather than Englishes.

The article deals with actualized exotisms and direct borrowings from Eastern Asian languages into the Russian language of the Eastern countries. The process of updating and replenishment of vocabulary, including through borrowings, characterizes the Russian language in China in the first half of the twentieth century as a living language system. One of the main sources of linguistic material is the magazine Rubezh, published in Harbin, in the cultural center of the Russian Eastern countries, from 1926 to 1945, as well as diaries, memoirs, and art works written by emigrants mainly in the 20-40th of the 20th century.

The appeal to the study of plate complexes of the Jewish Autonomous region is due to a number of circumstances. The main ones are: the small number of registered Neolithic settlements in the region, the lack of complete data on the middle Neolithic cultures of the region (which creates a kind of information vacuum between the cultures of the Middle and Lower Amur), the obscurity of connections and vectors of cultural influences of ancient communities, and others. The proposed article is devoted to a preliminary analysis of the ceramic material of the new complex of the Bijan-4 monument of the middle Neolithic period, the nature of the stone industry of which is focused on the preparation of subprismatic micronuclei, their splitting and obtaining knife-shaped blanks. The pottery of the settlement has bright individual features, on the one hand, which have no direct analogues in the famous monuments of archeology of the South of the Far East, and at the same time reveals cultural indicators that indicate a connection.

The article formulates indicators of learning success, including the availability of skills for independent work, formed conceptual thinking, self-recognition of achievements. Statistical analysis of the student survey results has confirmed the importance of senior family member participation in the education of the younger generation as a factor of success in the professional education of the individual. It was shown that the attention to a child in the family during the education in primary and secondary schools is a necessary element of success in the conditions of educational continuity.

The authors analyze the terminological problems of describing the engineering-psychological aspects of virtual reality technologies. They show that the definitions of virtual reality used by the technological mainstream are neither adequate to the nature of virtual realities, nor to the essence of technologies promoted as “only” virtual. They point out the inconsistency of the official myth of time, authorship and the reason of the "invention" of virtual reality. They underpin the applicability of the definition of virtual reality proposed by N.A. Nosov, a founder of Russian virtualistics, as a basic one and taking into account the “natural virtuality of a human” without which the so-called virtual reality technologies would simply not work. The authors state to the virtuality of the nature of any image, including cinematic. The virtual (augmented, substitute) reality technologies relate to the technologies of “consciousness editing”; but the involvement of the audience is not a harmless entertainment! These technologies, knowingly deceiving, should be placed under the public, ethical and legal control of society. Comprehensive interdisciplinary studies of their safety, their bioethical and humanitarian expertise require an establishment of terminological order in this area of business and scientific circulation.

This article is devoted to the analysis of the musical affiliation in the mystery of the Altai kam and kaichi. To do this, the authors transfer the methods of analyzing the European musical experience to the traditional Altai culture. We observe the physiology, psychology of music perception, as well as the phenomenology and semiology of the formation of musical experience. Similarities in the pre-secret understanding of music, as the formation of the perception of society of the system of coordinates and internment, the role of the figure of the performer in culture, and the relevance of comparing the structural function of the European and Altai musical agent are also substantiated
