Abstract

In this contribution, an approach of inducing artificial Doppler effect by controlling the phase of the reflected wave is introduced. Furthermore, we used a time-modulated metasurface which has 2-bit time varying phase to realize this approach. On this basis, a method of fitting the micro-Doppler characteristic curve of a typical moving target is proposed. Finally, the simulation results are given to verify the correctness of the method.
