ON THE ISSUE OF THE GESER EPIC IN CHINA IN THE 21st CENTURY

Abstract

. The study of “Geser” in China began in the late fifties of the last century and entered the development stage in the late eighties . In the new century, research on the origin of the Mongolian “Geser”, the translation of the Mongolian “Geser”, the Mongolian version of the “Geser” and the traditional protection of the Mongolian “Geser” was carried out. The content and art of the Mongolian “Geser” also has been intensively discussed. This article aim to systematically introduce the situation of Mongolian Geser research in China in the new century.
