Abstract
The paper describes the development and the manufacture of surgical mask straps using 3D printing technology, the experimental verification of ergonomics and the analysis of the evaluation of the best strap. Twelve variants of the straps were used including the variants available on the Internet and those produced on three kinds of 3D printers. 150 straps were experimentally tested in long-term operation by the staff of the Children’s Hospital of the University Hospital in Brno. The evaluation in order to choose the best strap variant was conducted using the basic evaluation method and the multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA). The article also gives recommendations towards the future developments.
