Abstract

2D code contains more object information in comparison with bar code. The online detection for 2D code is a problem which the industry has made efforts to resolve. This paper uses machine vision technology such as image segmentation, image noise reduction, image normalization, image enhancement and image error correction, in combination with 2D code database to read 2D code information. The experiments show that 2D code reading system has a high recognition rate.
