Assumptions and institutional arrangements are analyzed in order to establish how the decision making process is affected by current polices. Abstract
This paper summarizes the current practices of transmission expansion and pricing in Colombia. Transmission expansion in Colombia is formulated by a central governmental agency that is commissioned to establish the required transmission enhancements.
