Hyperbilirubinemia in Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia

Abstract

Purpose: The epidemiology of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia has been previously described and many associated factors show significant positive relationships. Congenital diaphragmatic hernia is an uncommon condition of approximately 1-3000 live births. The management of this often lethal disease includes several common and unique potential causes of hyperbilirubinemia, not previously reported.
