Abstract

In this paper we present a stable hybrid method between different numerical schemes to solve the Maxwell's equations in the time domain. In particular in this approach we have introduced a high order Galerkin Discontinuous method and a high order finite difference method. The goal of this hybridization is to take into account locally curved geometry without a too important time consuming for the resolution. The principle of the hybridization method is based on a conservation of the energy by adding special fluxes on the interface between the two schemes.
