Abstract

Due to the voltage controlled nature of V/f control it is susceptible to voltage disturbances caused by inverter non-idealities. This paper presents the most common types of non-idealities, along with their usual and improved methods of compensation. By transforming the measured variables to the synchronous reference frame, a static delay compensation which cancels non-ideal cross-coupling at high-speed is presented.
