Abstract
The authors present a geometric framework to address the problem of nonlinear control designs for chemical reactors that, under certain operation conditions, have a propensity to meet their input bounds. Conditions for the avoidance of undesired equilibrium points are presented. A dynamic analysis of the closed-loop behavior is performed. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate some of the findings.<>
