Abstract

In this work a comprehensive study of the electromagnetic interference problem on a metallic pipeline exposed to medium voltage underground cable systems is presented. Simulations are carried out using the well-known software package ATP-EMTP and results of the induced voltages on the metallic pipeline are presented for several operating conditions and configurations.
