Abstract

Using new techniques, we fabricated two kinds of piezoelectric films, polyurea-5 and poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) films, in order to investigate their optical properties, of which the higher order structures are simple. Our main findings are as follows. In the case of the PLLA film fabricated by the new technique, giant optical rotatory power and high-speed light modulation exists.
