Abstract

The chemical composition of the water of the Usman River was monitored within the Voronezh State Natural Biosphere Reserve for the winter-summer period of 2020-2021.. Based on its results, the characteristics of the current ecological state of the studied section of the river are given and the hydrochemical index of water pollution is calculated. The indicators of the composition of water, for which there is an excess of the maximum permissible concentrations, have been identified. The reasons for the deterioration of the quality of natural water are indicated.
