Abstract

This paper presents the development of an SDR-based FMCW radar receiver for SST applications. The proposed solution is based on two NI USRPs and LabVIEW NXG software. Several measurements campaigns were performed to determine the target range on a laboratory testbed. The dynamic range of the system was also evaluated by varying configuration parameters such as chirp bandwidth and period, sampling rate, and FFT size.
