Abstract

In this paper, new application of Jellyfish search optimizer algorithm (JS) is proposed to estimate the parameters of single-phase power transformer which is one of the most important engineering problems. JS algorithm simulates the motion jellyfish in the ocean. This study aims to estimate the parameters of equivalent circuit of single-phase transformer by current and voltage values at any different load. Through algorithm, difference between actual data and estimated parameter values, the error, is taken as the main objective function that must be minimized.
