Abstract

In this paper, two different types of graphene based rectangular patch antennas are designed for broadband terahertz applications. In the first step, we have modeled an antenna patch by copper metal for terahertz applications. The simulation results have a bad reflection coefficient according to used copper metal. To improvement this results an important graphene material have a good conductivity can be work in the second step. Time domain solver of CST MWS software is used to evaluate the performances of SIW patch antenna. The results obtained from CST are compared with that from HFSS to further validate the design.
