Abstract

This paper presents the development of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) control system using Hardware In the Loop System (HILS) and Look-Up Table (LUT)-based inverse flux map. The inverse flux map is developed using flux linkage calculated from Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation to reflect nonlinearity characteristics of an actual PMSM. In this paper, the effect of the LUT-based PMSM control system is verified by comparing the response characteristics of the control system with and without applying the developed LUT in simulation and HILS.
