The hybrid magnetic core consists of an amorphous magnetic material and precision magnetic soft alloy. The characteristics of the alloys are given, and a method of combining their positive properties for use as a transformer magnetic core is also shown. The basic mathematical expressions for calculating the magnetic parameters of a hybrid magnetic core are given. Based on analytical calculations, the calculation of the main geometric and electromagnetic parameters of a transformer with a hybrid magnetic core was made. Based on the calculations, an experimental prototype of a transformer with a hybrid magnetic core was developed.
