Electrodynamic models of microstrip dipole radiators operating in the 9% band have been developed. Parametric optimization of such antennas is performed. A technique for calculating the elements of the antenna array has been developed. The directivity characteristics of dipole radiators and antenna arrays of two elements that make up the sub-array of cylindrical active phased antenna arrays are determined. The influence of the mounting frame on the directivity and matching characteristics is shown. The sublattice design has been optimized to achieve the required matching. A model of a cylindrical antenna array has been developed. Issues of beam formation and control are considered. Abstract

The article discusses various schemes for constructing antenna systems with wide-angle scanning in the azimuth plane for a ground communication system. It is shown that antennas with spatial arrangement of elements allow increasing the gain. The directivity and frequency characteristics of such antennas are determined.
