It consisted of 30 students', this research used Classroom  Action  Research (CAR) which was consisted of 2 cycle in collecting the data, the writer used test and non-test. The test used in this research were formative and summative test. Meanwhile in non-test, the writer used observation sheet and field note. In analyzing the data, the writer used quantitative and qualitative method. Refer to the result of the test, it showed that there were 13 students who got score > 75 with the presentage 70.67 % in first cycle. Meanwhile, there were 22 students who got score > 75 with the presentage 78.67 % in the second cycle. In the other hand, the mean score of the students' learning activity in the first cycle was 6.4 and in the second cycle was 7.29.It showed that were was an Increased in the students' learning activity. Abstract

本研究旨在通过单词分组活动提高学生的词汇掌握能力。本研究的主题是在南榜市SMA Negeri 16举行的第11届IPA 6。本研究由30名学生组成,本研究采用课堂行动研究(CAR),分为2个周期收集数据,作者采用测试和非测试。本研究采用形成性测验和总结性测验。同时,在非测试中,作者使用了观察表和现场笔记。在分析数据时,作者采用了定量和定性相结合的方法。根据测试结果,在第一周期中,得分> 75分的学生有13人,呈现率为70.67%。第二轮评分> 75分的学生有22人,呈现率为78.67%。另一方面,学生在第一周期的学习活动平均得分为6.4分,在第二周期的学习活动平均得分为7.29分。结果表明,学生的学习积极性有所提高。根据研究结果,分组活动可以提高学生在11年级的词汇掌握,直到16班达南榜。
