Abstract

A micro-strip quasi-Yagi antenna is improved in this paper. The antenna unit for X band is designed. The number of the directors is increased in order to improve the gain of the antenna. The length of the directors, the width of the directors and the space of each directors are simulated and analyzed by the simulation software HFSS. The results show that: the bandwidth of the antenna is greater than 30%, the gain of the antenna is 3.57dB. The smaller size of the antenna is easy to design antenna array, and it has a good application.
