Abstract

In the paper we briefly introduce the concept of the project focusing on intelligent non-woven textiles based on Fiber Bragg Gratings. Besides the main design of the system a design of measuring blocks with integrated Fiber Bragg Grating elements is also presented. By experimental measurement the selected fabric was tested for strain sensitivity during the load and returning to its original state after removing the weight.
