The considered systems may have multiple uncertain time-delays. In order to achieve best guaranteed exponential decay rate, minimization of the spectral abscissa is also aimed. A minimax optimization problem is formulated for this purpose and algorithms to design such a controller are proposed. These algorithms also include an initialization procedure so that the controller is initialized with the minimum possible dimension and appropriate modes in order to satisfy the parity interlacing property. Abstract
