Abstract

Three groups of experimental and phenomenological data are reviewed:—           i) positive strangeness kaon‐nucleon scattering;          ii) antikaon‐nucleon processes from 250 Mev/c to ∼2GeV/c;         iii) antikaon‐nucleon processes below 250 MeV/c.          The conclusions are:—           a) There are still many problems to be solved.           b) Experimental techniques already exist which would permit              major improvements over present data. Kaon factories              would permit a more thorough programme.           c) QCD based dynamical models are now appearing which will              make a new generation of high statistics experiments              worthwhile.
