This study aims to examine the relationship between the activity related to the digital transformation of scientific research centers and The Digital Economy and Society Index (DESI) in the European Union. For this analysis, a bibliometric analysis is used, based on the Web of Science database, the number of researchers and articles on digital transformation. The global digital transformation increases availability and integrates digital technologies into all economic activities and at all business levels.
