Abstract

An antenna system for a polarimetric automotive radar made of 12 transmitters (Tx) and 16 receivers (Rx), equally divided in ±45° linearly polarized comb-line antenna arrays of 11 elements each and working at 79 GHz, has been designed and developed. The printed circuit board (PCB) has been mounted to a 12×16 Frequency-Modulated Continuous-Wave (FMCW) Radar and its performance are presented after observing copolar and cross-polar targets.
