The performance of the system is compared with Optimal state feedback controller (OSFC) and Optimal Sliding Mode Controller (OSMC) for Western System Coordinating Council (W.S.C.C) at nominal load. The accomplishment of the controllers are analyzed with eigenvalues and time response plots. Abstract

To enhance the dynamic stability, nonlinear feedback controller based on sliding concept to the Coordinated Control (COC) of Series Vectorial Compensator (SVeC) with Power System Stabilizer (PSS) is presented in this paper. SVeC is a novel series compensator, by vary the duty ratio, the line reactance is controlled.
