Abstract

Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) is the most adopted energy efficient technology. It is adopted in the distribution system due to its effectiveness in achieving a reduction in power consumption and peak reduction. In this article the concept of CVR is integrated with VAr optimization to enhance the voltage levels of the network within bounds, to reduce line losses and to decrease the power consumption of the network.
