Abstract
Book reviews, as well as scientific texts, are unanimously appreciated for their formative and informative value. In order to highlight specific features of both types of texts, a comparative analysis will be used, based on cognitive theory, mainly the prototype theory and the family resemblance theory, and a corpus linguistics methodology.
