Abstract

In the learning process each individual has preferences about the content that should be presented and taught. These preferences are related to the learner's learning style. The identification of these styles helps students and teachers to choosing the most appropriate way to present the content to be studied. Typically, the learning styles identification are made through questionnaires. However, to fill a questionnaire is considered a tedious activity. The use of games could turn the students' learning styles identification more attractive and playful. Therefore, this paper describes the development of a mobile device game for clustering and identification of Absorption students' styles (Felder-Silverman model). Through the proposed approach, a teacher could apply the game to a group of students in order to check, through an online system, the relationship of students grouped by different learning styles. With this information, the teacher could apply the appropriate didactics for each group.
