The Morphological and Semantic Impacts of Abu Said Al-Serafi on the Works of Abu Hayyan Al-Tawhidi

Abstract

ABSTRACT: This research included a descriptive and analytic study of Al-Serafi's words and his morphological and semantic views that Abu Hayyan Al-Tawhidi has published in his works that we found. The research included an introduction and two parts. The first part talks about (the morphological impacts of Al-Serafi on Al-Tawhidi's works), and the second part is about (the linguistic and semantic impacts of Al-Serafi on Al-Tawhidi's works). by completing this study, the researcher reached a number of results, including: 1_Al-Serafi's linguistic and semantic views that expressed by Al-Tawhidi in his works, clearly indicated that Al-Serafi was a linguist besides being a scientist in grammar and morphology. 2_Al-Tawhidi's quotes from his master Al-Serafi in matters of significance was more than the matters of morphology, and this indicate that Al-Serafi had a greater impact on Al-Tawhidi's linguistic and semantic culture. ملخص البحث: تضَمّنَ هذا البحثُ دراسَةً وصْفيّةً تحليليّةً لأقْوالِ السيرافي وآرائِهِ الصرفية والدلالية التي نثَرَها أبو حيّان التّوحيدي في مُصنّفاتِهِ التي وقفْنا عليها. وانتظم البحثُ في مبحثين بعد المقدمة، كان المبحث الأول بعنوان (الأثَر الصّرفيّ للسيرافي في مصنّفات التوحيديّ)، وأمّا المبحث الثاني، فكان بعنوان (الأثَرُ اللُّغويّ والدّلالي للسيرافي في مصنّفات التوحيديّ). وبانتهاء الدراسة، توصّل الباحِثُ إلى عَددٍ من النتائج، ومنها: إنّ آراء السيرافي اللُّغويّة والدلاليّة التي أورَدَها التوحيديُّ في مُصنّفاتِهِ، دلّتْ دلالةً واضِحَةً على أنّ السيرافي كانَ عالِمَ لُغَةٍ إلى جانبِ كونِهِ عالِمًا في النّحوِ والصّرفِ. إنّ نُقُولَ التّوحيديّ عن شيخِهِ السيرافي في قضايا الدلالةِ كانت أكثرَ منها في قضايا الصرفِ، وفي ذلِكَ دلالة على أنّ السيرافي كانَ ذا أثرٍ كبيرٍ في ثقافة التّوحيدي اللُّغوية والدلالية.
