Abstract
The analysis of the effectiveness of modern technologies for obtaining key — keyway of the shaft during the repair of machines is carried out. The results of research on the technology of obtaining such mates by means of electromechanical upsetting of keyway slots on shafts are presented. Recommendations are proposed for improving the efficiency and reliability of the key — keyway of the shaft, modified by electromechanical processing.
