This study was focused to analyze the views of teachers regarding motivation and encouragement towards their children to participate in physical activities to find out the most dominant motives that persuade parents to encourage their children to participate in sports activities. It has been concluded that teachers’ involvement in sports in terms of their attitude, perception and motives has paramount significance in motivating children towards participation in sports.
