People all around the world are affected by the deadly, complicated, and rising prevalent condition known as diabetes mellitus. The assessment of self-management among diabetic patients is very important. By self-monitoring of the blood glucose, eating healthy foods, doing exercise they can remain healthy despite of disease. The goal of the study is to determine how well diabetic patients manage their condition on their own. The study was conducted among diabetic patients in Hyderabad was convenient. Data was collected by DSMQ questionnaire. The statistical software for social sciences (SPSS) 21 version was used to examine the data. 100 individuals completed the survey, which was then returned for analysis (response rate of 100%). 46% of people frequently check their blood sugar levels, 49% take medications, 32% engage in physical activity, and just 32% adhere to the recommended diet. Majority of the diabetic patients do self- management but still there are a number of patients were unable to follow self-management regimes.

The current study was conducted to determine the relationship among knowledge, attitude and reporting behavior of elite athletes, those who were injured of an ACL injury in their sporting career. A sample of n=332 (male=270 (81.30%); female=62 (18.70%)) was selected and participated in the cross-sectional survey. A self-made structured questionnaire was developed and used for the collection of the required information. The collected data was properly tabulated and analyzed with the help of appropriate statistical tests. The analyzed data revealed a moderate correlation of knowledge and attitude with reporting behaviours of elite athletes. Pertaining to attitude towards ACL injury, athletes reported statistically significantly more unsafe attitudes regarding the management of ACL injury during a practice session and competition. The analyzed data revealed that athletes prefer to use play with an ACL in jury a behavior embedded in competitive sports culture. These findings suggest an intentional education program that could the attitude of athletes towards ACL injury.

The background of the study at hand described the Relationship between Sports Participation and the Development of Social Perfectionism among University Female Athletes of Punjab. Social perfectionism was analyzed from four perspectives like self-esteem, self-confidence, self-acceptance and self-discipline. The population for the study comprised of (462) university female athletes who had participated at intercollege and inter-varsity sports competitions randomly selected from Eight (08) public sector universities of Punjab. A structured questionnaire on a Likert scale ranging from strongly agree (SA) to strongly disagree (SDA) was developed and used after pilot testing checked through respondents of sampled university female athletes adopting a Cronbach's Alpha method of reliability. The researcher set a 0.05 value for testing the set hypotheses of the study. The data have shown that sports participation is highly correlated with different dimensions of social perfectionism like self-esteem, self-confidence, self-acceptance and self-discipline. At the same time, it was noticed that self-confidence was the most dominant factor developed through sports participation among female athletes of the university. Likewise, the data have revealed that those athletes who had participated in individual sports for four or more than four years had obtained higher mean score on Social Perfectionism Questionnaire (SPQ) than those who had participated in team sports for less than four years. Keeping in view the utility and importance of sports in the lives of students, particularly in empowering girls, it is obligatory to encourage a sports culture and involve the girls in peaceful sports.

The aim of this study is to explore the attitude of Physiotherapists (PT) about psychological rehabilitation in sports injured patients. The study design is cross sectional study. The data was collected through a distribution of questionnaire among 123 certified PT. Questionnaire adapted from Physiotherapists and Sports Psychology Questionnaire (PSPQ) used to find the attitude and data analyze by using SPSS for results. The result showed that 83% PT believed that it is important to provide psychological rehabilitation to patient with sports related injuries. 86% think social and emotional support benefit in the recovery of sports injured patient. 66% used techniques to enhance self confidence and self-esteem and 62% taught patients emotion controlling strategies, 69% used relaxation techniques on sports injured patients and 71% PT recommended therapy reduces psychological problems in the patient is suffering from sports related injuries” The result of the this study showed an overall positive attitude.

The focus of the study was to apply for the supervised circuit resistant training (CRT) Program on cardiorespiratory functions of an adolescent having the same age, gender, and exercise schedule from the Department of Sports Sciences and Physical Education, Dera Ismail Khan. The subjects of the study were accordingly divided into two equal groups, where a was labeled as the Experimental Group (EG) and group B was named as the Control Group (CG). For this purpose, 20 subjects as an experimental group (EG) and subjects as a control group (CG) were selected. The experimental group was given a CRT protocol of eight-week to check the influence of exercise upon functions of cardiorespiratory, whereas the control group was given no treatment. The desired parameters were tested before and after the prescribed exercise protocol for the overall assessment of cardiorespiratory fitness. For this purpose, the researcher used the sphygmomanometer and spirometer to get the readings. The researcher collected the data from all the participants under the guidance of the research supervisor used for further evaluation. According to the analyzed data, the participants of an experimental group showed statistical significant differences in Hip Circumference (HP), Waist-hip ratio (WHR) and Body Mass Index (MBI), Furthermore, results of the test revealed a significant increase in the cardiorespiratory indices (CO, SV, IRV, ERV) among the participants' experimental group.

The study aimed to examine the Teacher's motivation and encouragement towards their children to participate in physical activities. the teachers who have children studying in the higher secondary schools in Bannu District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan was the population of the study. This study was focused to analyze the views of teachers regarding motivation and encouragement towards their children to participate in physical activities to find out the most dominant motives that persuade parents to encourage their children to participate in sports activities. It has been concluded that teachers’ involvement in sports in terms of their attitude, perception and motives has paramount significance in motivating children towards participation in sports. Researchers can investigate the motives among the teachers in other provinces of the country and for this purpose comparison of the motives can be done.

The aim of the study was to examine the Impact of Working Environment on Job per Performance of instructor physical education (IPE). 19 male and 13 female IPEs were the population of the study. To carryout the study, the researcher used a cross-sectional research approach. The self-administered scale was used for data collection. To analyses the collected data, the researcher used inferential statistics as well, as V3.3 by Andrew F. Hayes was used for mediation to obtain the desired result. It was found that the working environment has a negative impact on the job performance of IPEs, but after adopting coping mechanisms, they improve their performance. Statistical package version no 22 was adopted for coding and data analyses. The result of the existing study depict working environment adversely affect the job performance of the IPEs,but after adopting coping mechanism, they improve their job performance, as the coefficient value decrease but the connection between job stressors and job performance remain significant after adopting the coping mechanism as a mediator (.96). The researcher suggested that the same phenomena may be investigated at other institutions except for educational institutions. The future researcher may use the qualitative method with longitudinal research design to dig out unearth phenomena.
