Abstract

In this paper, a Current Feedback Operational Amplifier (CFOA) based active filter configuration has been proposed. The described circuit topology employs two CFOAs and five admittances to realize an active Low Pass Filter (LPF), a Band Pass Filter (BPF) and a High Pass Filter (HPF) by appropriate admittance selection. In all the derived filter circuits, grounded and virtually grounded capacitors are being used, as it is preferred for IC implementation, for the design of filter circuits.
