Many devices, such as customer edge (CE) routers, are difficult to operate in a multiprotocol label switching-virtual private network (MPLS-VPN) due to manual processes that the user must perform in a CLI terminal. The network automation process in MPLS-VPN networks is difficult due to the large number of routing tables that must be managed. The route leakage approach is described in this study to bypass these limitations and allow the network automation program to be implemented directly to CE routers.
