Abstract

Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) provide the mean to transform mobility and cope to solve sustainability problems. Different car-sharing and ride-sharing services have been designed aimed to solve the shared mobility problem. This work proposes a multi-service bus-sharing system for private fleets. The proposed system enhances the existing transportation private fleet service by providing: sharing capabilities, online booking, online real-time information, access control and dynamic fleet management. This system is being used since January 2016. The paper describes the services, the system architecture and implementation, as well as results of the main tests.
