Abstract

In this paper we have presented 3D modelling pipeline and a virtual reality model of one of the most well-known inventions of Nikola Tesla — a radio controlled boat. Tesla's invention was the first wireless control device with its own command logic. Historically, this device was the first completely realized remote control robot. Modelling was done in cooperation with the Nikola Tesla Museum of Belgrade whose original documents and model were exploited for virtual model making. Stereoscopic modelling was achieved by precisely observing original blueprints and the physical prototype owned by the Museum.
