The converter consists of two full bridges working as converter/ inverter modes of operation according to the requirement. Here, there is intentionally a phase shift provided between the primary and secondary bridges of converter to control the power flow. The current control algorithm with a PSM technique is implemented to produce the switching pulses for the front-end converter that gives accurate control as compared to proportional integral (PI) controller based technique. The DAB with a high frequency isolating transformer is modelled and designed to operate in both the directions. Abstract
