Abstract

The paper describes the electrical parameters investigation of a surface Permanent Magnets Synchronous Motor (PMSM). Several methods have been using for the resistance and inductance measurement. Unfortunately, the standard techniques do not always allow the estimation of the inductances saturation curves and therefore the new approaches are shown in the paper. The acquired parameters are compared and evaluated, and the most accurate methods will be processed and used for further microcomputer implementation.
