Abstract

Need analysis is the first important step in developing ESP module. It is a way to gather information of needs towards the material, methods and strategy in teaching ESP. 需求分析是ESP模块开发的第一个重要步骤。本研究旨在运用Dudley-Evan和St. John(1998)的需求分析的八个方面，发现并分析ATIP巴东农工系学生开发ESP模块的需求。本研究采用描述性定性方法。本研究的对象是81名学生和2名英语教师。数据收集采用问卷调查，访谈和以往的测试结果。数据采用图形和描述的方式呈现。结果表明，ESP教学需要一个包含大部分课外活动的ESP模块，并建议在ESP教学中使用交互式多媒体。本研究的结果将作为下一步研究的矩阵。
