The broader thematic framework of this research is the development of integrated language skills in teaching English for specific purposes to business students of higher vocational schools in Serbia. In order to determine the role of listening skills in teaching, the following is examined: listening comprehension of professional, complex and long texts; the presence of the teacher as a source of auditory text; student motivation; the role of implicit extracurricular listening skills; the importance of using audio-visual content and exposure to authentic language material in the acquisition of the English language. The theoretical postulates were verified by the research results based on the questionnaire answered by the respondents – business students at the Belgrade Business and Arts Academy for Applied Studies. The results were quantitatively processed using the statistical method, and interpreted and analysed in relation to the theoretical concept presented in the work. Abstract

This paper deals with the role of listening skills in the process of learning English as a foreign language, developing language competences and improving the level of English knowledge for the needs of successful young people in a modern business environment. 听力技能在特定目的英语中的地位和作用:商科学生的态度
本文论述了听力技能在英语作为外语学习过程中的作用,培养语言能力,提高英语知识水平,以满足现代商业环境中成功年轻人的需求。本研究的更广泛的主题框架是塞尔维亚高等职业学校商务学生在特定目的的英语教学中综合语言技能的发展。为了确定听力技能在教学中的作用,考察了以下几个方面:专业、复杂和长文本的听力理解;教师作为听觉文本来源的存在;学生的动机;隐性课外听力技巧的作用;使用视听内容和接触真实语言材料在英语习得中的重要性。通过对贝尔格莱德商业与艺术应用研究学院商科学生的问卷调查,验证了上述理论假设。使用统计方法对结果进行定量处理,并根据工作中提出的理论概念进行解释和分析。根据所获得的见解得出结论,并进一步设计和完善研究和教学内容。
