Abstract

The digital economy development in modern realities does not address the information technologies introduction in all spheres of society, their use in everyday life, the digital literacy growth, the new digital professions emergence. Ceteris paribus, the digital economy discussion includes the development of digital and informational relationships between countries, primarily regarding the economy. The article gives the digital economy phenomenon modern understanding, defines its present place in the world community. The study analyzed the UN opinion on the digital economy state for 2019. Also, the authors determined the influence degree of the digital economy - e-commerce key element on the change in the Russian economy.
