Abstract
The new type of AC voltage regulators with switched capacitors is analyzed. The converter presented in the work is a buck-boost converter with sinusoidal input and output currents which is characterized by lower values of the installed reactive power of the capacitors and a large control range. The experimental results are presented and the main energy characteristics and oscillograms of currents and voltages are obtained.
