El Quindío de frente: ilustración arquitectónica de fachadas de los conjuntos fundacionales del departamento para su memoria y difusión, caso municipio de Pijao

Abstract

The municipality of Pijao (Quindío) is included in the Colombia’s Coffee Cultural Landscape inscribed by UNESCO in the World Heritage List. Recently Pijao has been certified by ICONTEC as a touristic sustainable destination, and has been gotten the international recognition in Cittaslow. The recognition commits the Colombian government and the international, national and local community with the PCC’s protection in the Quindio Department. The aim of this research is to provide and generate draws using the illustration technique showing details on buildings main facades. The graphics allow recognizing the architecture importance places on cultural interest in the Quindio municipalities. Moreover the ornamental, colorimetric de tails are described as an important part in the heritage in the Antioquia’s colonization. The Objective is to develop architecture illus-trations of main facades, showing the foundational core in the municipality of Pijao, to conserve and spread the historical memory. From a methodological focus on the research, the proposal is to show the architectural features on the foundational core in the municipality of Pijao. The research is descriptive and the aim is to identify the qualities in the main facades, and describe the ornamental, colorimetric and formality parameters. of important architectural pie-ces with symbolism and cultural heritage. The visualization also allows the open access and recognizing of information without spatial res-tricting. It contributes to the sustainable of the local identity memory. The collective memories restore the past, and allow the remembrances are referred to the experience.
